I gave these filters a shot a couple months ago and was very impressed. I don't fully understand the science of it, but somehow my coffee tastes significantly better with these filters. Coffee is smoother and tastes far better than other filters I've used in the past.

These are perfect for my drip cone, which tapers to a point. The filters that have a square bottom don't fit well and I've found they tend to split. These do not. There's no taste to the paper at all. Even though they're a bit more $, they work so well, they're worth it.

I hate when I see reviews indicating that these filters have some sort of odor, or that they impart a bad flavor to the coffee when in reality the opposite is the truth: These are impossibly great filters with zero smell and completely neutral. I'll continue to use them again again and again.
