It is made of the non-wood material ABACA (Manila hemp) and wood-pulp based on a forestation project. The ABACA filter paper can be said an eco-friendly filter paper. It has good air and liquid permeability, toughness, and elasticity. Of course, it is made in Japan.

Papermaking process: Dewatering: Dewater pulp and make a paper sheet. Drying: Dry the paper sheet by heating. Rolling: Roll the paper sheet under finely tuned and adjusted rolling pressure.

These Trapezoid filters were designed for use with the Cafec Trapezoid Dripper, the Cafec Abaca Trapezoid Paper Filter is also compatible with other trapezoidal drippers like the Kalita HA Dripper, Kalita 103, Clever Dripper 500ml., Melitta #4, Bee House Dripper, Bonavita Dripper, Moccamaster & Wilfa Svart Presisjon. Note: size 103 is equivalent to #4 filters, and suitable for clever dripper and other medium/large size fan shape dripper.

Game changer!

I purchased these filters based on a brew recipe for the Clever Dripper, which is the main method I use now.
These filters are fast! And the speed does not compromise the filtering.
They have greatly improved my morning brew.

Moccamaster Replacement

I used these filters for max sized brews on a Moccamaster (70 grams of coffee grinds). These filters have a faster flow rate than the official Moccamaster filters and alleviated all of my clogging issues with the Moccamaster filters. These CAFEC filters are a must if you are experiencing stalling, overflowing, or clogging.

Get the most out of your coffee!

Pairs very well with a clever filter. Brings out notes that are usually reserved for when I use my more expensive grinders. Even was able to get a cleaner taste/cup with coffee that has that been sitting for a while. If you spend a little more on your coffee or just want the most out of your cup, it’s worth getting these filters

Fast, well made filters

They’re a bit large for a #4 application, but will still fit. Quick draw down, no odor or flavor, great filters!
